Edward Navone Roundtable Discussion
Join the Mulvane Art Museum and members of the community for a roundtable discussion about the last artist and Washburn Professor Emeritus Edward Navone. Over the decades, he inspired numerous students to engage with art through his demonstrations, lectures, and study abroad programs. He was also a prolific artist who was constantly driven to create.
Former students, friends, and colleagues will discuss his artistic practice, educational approach, and cultural contributions. The conversation will be moderated by Connie Gibbons, guest curator of the exhibition "CANVAS AND PAPER" and Director Emeritus of the Mulvane Art Museum.
