WU Piano & Organ Society Gala
The Washburn Piano and Organ Society Gala Concert showcases the achievements of the highest-performing students of Washburn Piano Day, which took place earlier this spring. Washburn Piano Day participants had to perform one or two pieces from memory, and were judged by university professors (Dr. Lucy Tan and Dr. Junyi Nie) and Washburn music major volunteers. Highest-scoring participants were awarded cerfificates of excellence and ribbons of special recognition. The gala concert is free and open to the public.
