Washburn is co-hosting the Kansas-Missouri International Dyslexia Association conference on campus. This event will gather teachers, parents, community members and experts for the day to learn more about working with individuals with dyslexia. KBOR Regent Cindy Lane will be welcoming the group in the morning and Dr. Mazachek may also stop by. The cost for Washburn students is $20 and the cost for the general public is $80. This fee includes the sessions, lunch and a swag bag. Students can contact Dr. Carolyn Carlson at carolyn.carlson@washburn.edu for a discount code. Ticket sales end Sept. 13.
