Mini-robotics, mini-drones, not so mini- telescopes, Lego building and cosmic crafts, the free 14th Annual Ad Astra Space Celebration offers attendees fun and educational science. NASA Solar System Ambassadors Brenda Culbertson, Mark Brown and Rick Heshchmeyer will share about astonomy, comets, meteorites and more. The event is co-sponsored by the Washburn University Department of Physics and Astronomy and the (501c3) Ad Astra Kansas Foundation each April to inspire students' interests in STEM.
