Welcome the holiday spirit a bit early by participating in the 10^th annual Toys for Tots Toy Build on Dec. 1 in Building K at Washburn University Institute of Technology, 5724 SW Huntoon.

The event from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. traditionally includes 500 volunteers who work a combined 980 hours to make 1,000 wooden toys to be distributed in 15 counties in northeast Kansas. Donations of materials and monetary contributions are also appreciated.
