Washburn University Department of Music presents "Beethoven Duo Concert," featuring Washburn faculty Dr. Zsolt Eder on violin and Dr. Lucy Tan on piano. The program features Sonatas for Violin and Piano No. !, 2, and 3 by Ludwig van Beethoven.

The event is free and open to the public.

Zsolt Eder is Professor of Violin and Viola at Washburn University and is also Concertmaster of the Topeka symphony. He is active as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestra musician and educator. He is a founding member of the Opus 76 String Quartet and a member of New Ear Contemporary Ensemble in Kansas City. He also performs and teaches at the Sunflower Music Festival in Topeka.

Pianist Lucy Tan, is an active performer who has been showcased at world-renowned venues and on national radio. Dr. Tan has presented masterclasses and presentations across the country, and is an active board member of several teacher's organizations. She has degrees from the New England Conservatory and University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Tan is Director of Keyboard Studies/Applied Piano at Washburn University. She also founded Washburn Summer Keyboard Academy, a summer camp for young pianists and organists.
