Brown Bag International Lecture - "After Afghanistan" by Tom Prasch & Kris Ailslieger

As the American military departs from Afghanistan and urgently tries to arrange the exit of Americans and American allies still in the field, it is worth providing key background on the recent history of Afghanistan, the initial impetus for American involvement and the changing mission over time, as well as to consider what was (and was not) accomplished and how enduring (or not) the accomplishments of the last two decades will be in the wake of Taliban takeover of state.
